“You just had your first business meeting in Israel!”
Yuval said to me as we walked out of the building.

When we had walked in to the same building about two hours earlier, I had taken in my surroundings carefully. The shiny floor and walls of the lobby, the long corridor to the restrooms, locking eyes with myself in the elevator mirror. How the people we kept on passing from various companies in the building felt like they were in a different world than me. They even seemed to walk differently.

These random details from today’s experience will one day be a flashback associated with a meeting that either resulted in nothing, or the very beginning of something.

I sure hope it’s the latter. My fate is totally in my own hands, which is very exciting but also scares the shit out of me.

Much love,
Kaori
