I know I just wrote the other day that I’ve put my baking pans away for the summer, but I still do bake the occasional bread. When making this Vermont whole wheat oatmeal honey bread today I remembered the last time I made it was back when it was so cold that I had to put the dough in front of the heater to rise. Now I just put it outside if the AC is on or on the kitchen counter and the dough is growing before I know it. I’m finding it’s easier to bake bread in warmer weather.
