Found these stunningly gorgeous and super cool public libraries via The 25 Most Beautiful Public Libraries in the World on Flavorwire.com.

Some of the modernly designed libraries almost don’t even look like libraries at first glance, do they? (For instance the interior of Vancouver’s library looks more like a fancy mall to me!) While I like their clean cut, futuristic appearances (I imagine their technology is equally state-of-the-art as well), I personally prefer the more classic style ones like in New York City or Rome. The only one in this list I’ve actually been to is the New York Public Library and I think my mouth stayed agape the whole time, I was so in awe.

I’m happy two libraries from Japan also made the list🙂

Hope you’re having a great weekend,

Flavorwire.comが集めたThe 25 Most Beautiful Public Libraries in the World

Much love,
Kaori

Nice post! I am still looking for a decent library in Tel Aviv that houses English books as well… no luck so far!

Hello fellow foreign blogger in Israel🙂 If you ever find a good library in Tel Aviv, please tell me. I love libraries of any kind. Actually in the tiny library of my remote kibbutz, they have a pretty good collection of English books (although some of them were quite old), if you ever feel like coming out in this (far) neck of the woods!
