9 January 2012 (Recipe swap)

I made a recipe swap with a co-worker recently. It was exciting for a few reasons: for one, my co-worker liked something I made so much that she demanded I tell her the recipe. Until recently as maybe a year ago I wouldn’t have dared taken out to public whatever mess I made in the kitchen, let alone having someone actually liking it!

Second, this was the first recipe I actually got in Israel from a person I know in real life instead of some brilliant stranger on the Internet (whom I’m not ashamed to say I cannot live without).

This is also the first recipe I acquired in Hebrew.

I hope to feature both my co-worker’s recipe and my own in another post. I haven’t gotten used to this blogging every day thing quite yet – I hope I’ll eventually be able to write everything that I initially planned to!

Much love,
Kaori
