This morning’s sky. After a night full of rain.

My boss asked me at work today if I did anything for Christmas. But it was a bit confusing because she kept saying “On yom shishi,” yom shishi meaning Friday (the 23rd), but she also kept saying esrim-ve-arba, which means 24. After a few minutes I understood that maybe my boss thought Christmas Eve was on the 23rd, but it was already too late to go back to that part of the conversation.

If you celebrate Christmas, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. I haven’t really celebrated it much in the last few years, but I do have many fond memories of the holiday. My parents really got in to the spirit when we lived in Michigan, where it was a big thing, and because of them I believed in Santa a lot longer than other kids my age. I also always remember a Christmas I spent in Los Angeles one year at one of my best friends’. I feel lucky to have warm memories to look back on.

でも気付いた時にはもう会話は後戻りできない状態でした 涙

Much love,

Merry Christmas dear girl! And the best of everything in 2012! And I also hope you had/have a delightful Channukkah!
P.S. Glad you found your song and singer. Sounds like you are really having an adventure with life, and I am so happy to hear all about it. Makes me smile!
    Much love,

Merry Christmas to you too Sammi! You know when my family reminisces about our time in Michigan, you and Danielle inevitably come up in our conversation at some point! 🙂 You guys are a vital part of our warm memories.

I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas and best wishes for the New Year!

Oh, thank you! That is so nice to hear! I do hope at some point we will see you again. If you get to the US please call us! And if we get to the far corners of the earth we will look you up too. Life moves too quickly, and we seem to be busy all the time. Perhaps when we retire we will actually travel for pleasure. For now we are just getting these kids through school/college. Give our love to your family!
